Mahakumbh 2025 Invitation: Maha Kumbh is to be organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh from 13 January to 26 February. Its preparations are going on in full swing. Invitations will also be sent to the Chief Ministers of non-BJP ruled states for the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh. The UP government has decided to send ministers to invite the Chief Ministers and Governors of all the states. Under this, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and former minister Siddharth Nath Singh will go to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Asim Arun will go to Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
Swatantra Dev Singh will go to Madhya Pradesh and AK Sharma will go to Gujarat. Om Prakash Rajbhar will be sent to Sikkim, Rakesh Sachan and Daya Shankar Singh to Bihar and West Bengal, Daya Shankar Mishra Dayalu to Tripura, Yogendra Upadhyay to Jharkhand, Surya Pratap Shahi and Baldev Aulakh to Haryana and Punjab, Suresh Khanna to Karnataka and Delhi, while Baby Rani Maurya will be sent to Uttarakhand.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah

An invitation will also be sent to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
The central government has approved a grant of 2100 crores for Maha Kumbh 2025. Its first installment of 1050 crores has also been released. The state government is spending 5435.68 crores on organizing the Maha Kumbh. This amount is being spent on 421 projects. The UP government has so far issued financial approval of 3461.99 crores. This will make the Maha Kumbh organized in a more divine and grand manner.
Maha Kumbh Mela New District
The Uttar Pradesh government has declared the Maha Kumbh area of Prayagraj as a new district. This will be the 76th district of the state, which will be known as Maha Kumbh Mela district. This new district has been formed with the aim of smoothly managing the special event of Kumbh Mela and conducting administrative work in a better manner.
PM Modi will review on December 13
PM Modi will review the preparations for Maha Kumbh on December 13. Before this, CM Yogi Adityanath will review all the preparations on December 7. In view of this, all the important roads are being beautified rapidly. The work of street lighting and thematic lighting is being done by the Municipal Corporation. The work of laying all the power cables is going on at a fast pace by the Electricity Department.
