Dr. Ashish Jha, the Dean of Brown University's School of Public Health, tells TODAY that it’s “frustrating” that coronavirus vaccinations are not happening faster and says that “we need a federal government helping states, not just saying to states, ‘you’re on your own.’” He also says “we don’t know the exact number” of Americans who need to be vaccinated to reach herd immunity, but says it’s “certainly north of 70 percent” and could be as high as 90 percent.
