Good Morning Everyone!
Today I bring you Janet Jackson's All For You Tour I am upscaling to 4K and 60 FPS. As you can see I have the concert broken up by individual song like other concerts I have posted and will post the finals as they come out. This concert took some extra TLC because I discovered in the source media that there was some generational loss within the copy I received because of the following.
- Recorded through an analog medium initially at 59.94 fields per second
- Deinterlaced and converted to a digital format at 29.97 frames per second and stacked the aspect ratio adjusted fields on top of each other to create a false motion blur effect.
- This was then converted back to interlaced when it was burned to DVD.
All these errors threw me for a loop and realized I had to tackle this differently and unfortunately that means I can't feasibly post this concert in it's entirety all at once like other concerts I have posted. At the current rate everything is processing, I should have everything done and posted over the course of the next 30 to 45 days. That is..... If I take minimal breaks and use both of my powerful computers to finish the framerate conversions.
