Perfluor elastomers (FFKM)
FFKM has the chemical properties of PTFE and the elastic properties of FFKM rubber. FFKM processing is difficult. Since perfluoro elastomers are several times more expensive than FKM, FFKM is only used where other types of materials are inadequate. Such applications (aggressive environments and / or very high termpatures) exist, for example, in the semiconductor industry, in measuring technology and in the chemical industry.
