With over 300 guests, the Gala was the perfect end to the Marbella Philanthropic Weekend 2012.
The fantastic Hotel Gran Meliá Don Pepe***** was the perfect frame to host our unique event, hosted by the activist, philanthropist and actress Eva Longoria, benefitting The Eva Longoria Foundation, Fundación Cesare Scariolo, and Fundación Malaga CF.
An incredible "Hollywood-style" floating stage was build to host many top celebs from all over the world.
The red carpet was awesome, with Eva Longoria, Honorary Chair of The Global Gift Gala; Sergio Scariolo (Co-Chair) the spanish national basketball coach; Julio Baptista, (ambassador of the Fundación Malaga CF); Amaury Nolasco (actor and presenter), Terrence Howard (actor and performer); model, actress and presenter Mar Saura; Deepak Chopra (spiritual leader and best seller author); Vicente del Bosque (Spanish National Football Coach, FIFA South Africa World Cup 2010 Champion) models María José Suárez (former Miss Spain) and Sylvie Van der Vaart; María Pineda, Carola Toca (fashion designer); Ana Fernández (actress), David Meca (swimmer, Guinness recordman), Diego Amador (flamenco pianist & performer), Chenoa (singer), Pastora Soler (singer) & Diana Navarro (singer), Dani García (2 Michelin Stars Chef) amongst others.
Maria Bravo and Alina Peralta (MandA Events Founders & Directors) and a large team of professionals of all sectors (more than 150 people worked non-stop, 50 tons of materials), were responsible to create a visually and gastronomically spectacular evening. The catering service was under the direct supervision of the Chef Dani Garcia (2 Michelin Stars) and Diego del Río (1 Michelin Star). Diana Navarro, Pastora Soler, Chenoa, Bruce Baps, Diego Amador & Terrence Howard performances were the perfect entertainment for more than 300 guests.

The Global Gift Excellence Award, was for the spanish actor, Antonio Banderas (he could not attend the Gala, but he recorded a video message saying thank you for the award and ensuring that he would like "...to take further action with my friend Eva Longoria, to help those in need, in the near future...").
The Global Gift Humanitarian Award, was for the spanish national football coach Vicente Del Bosque, the award was given by Deepak Chopra.
