"UMSL Students Succeed Virtually Anywhere"
October 29, 2020 | 7 :00 PM - Program Begins
Please help us celebrate our 29th annual Founders Celebration to recognize our valued UMSL community. The celebration is dedicated in memory of Wayne Goode who introduced legislation in 1963 to allow for the transfer of the old Bellerive Country Club from the Normandy School District to establish the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Goode, who served more than 40 years in elected office, died Oct. 5 after a battle with leukemia.
During the program we will recognize new and advancing Auguste Chouteau Society members. We will also recognize the 2020 Distinguished Alumni Award recipients and award the E. Desmond and Mary Ann Lee Medal for Philanthropy.
