Back in the late '90s and early 2000s, when rock music was moving away from the post-grunge era, the band Creed emerged as one the prominent rock acts of the time. The band released three consecutive platinum albums, and part of their success was due to lead singer Scott Stapp’s sultry hard rock vocals. The Creed frontman not only knew how to sing a great rock ballad but he also knew how to write them.
