June 28 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Congress violated the Constitution when it set up an auditing board after the Enron Corp. and WorldCom Inc. collapses, saying the panel was too insulated from presidential control. In a separate ruling, the high court rejected the Justice Department's bid for as much as $280 billion in tobacco company profits, refusing to hear an Obama administration appeal. (Source: Bloomberg)
