Illinois Central ran a special train for a church group headed from Chicago to Tennessee for a weekend retreat at their camp. No need for a baggage car because it was all hand carry. They left Chicago mid-day Friday, overnighted on the Train, arriving camp Saturday morning. Return trip was late Sunday departure, overnight on the train arriving Chicago late Monday afternoon. Train is all sleepers except the twin unit diner. OMI E units are from the late 90’s, cars are Coach Yard, Shoreham Shops, Challenger Imports, Wasatch, Palace Car Company.
