Are entitlements corrupting those they intend to sustain or are legislated benefits a necessary, civic responsibility that support us all? William Galston, Senior Fellow of Governance at the Brookings Institution, argues with Nicholas Eberstadt, Henry Wendt Chair in Political Economy at American Enterprise Institute, about the necessity of entitlements, especially in times of austerity. The discussion will be moderated by David Van Zandt, President of the New School.
