This exercise is excellent for using when you are having an active episode of dizziness, or whenever activities provoke some of your symptoms. Many people also find it helpful to do "mini" versions of this exercise between rehabilitation exercises. This breathing technique will reduce stress chemicals in your brain, which helps reduce sensations of dizziness. This will help you get some control over your symptoms!
Note: this exercise is not intended for use if you are having an active episode of severe vertigo associated with a medical condition like Meniere's Disease, vestibular migraine or BPPV. However, if you have interstitial symptoms (or sensations of dizziness, fatigue or anxiety) between attacks, this exercise may be helpful to you.
