For the next few videos, we'll discuss the Measure Phase, the second phase of DMAIC, the framework for Lean Six Sigma projects. The main objective of this phase is to numerically understand the condition and situation of the target process. Doing so enables us to measure the degrees of success of your project. PMP calls it 'Benchmark'. There are many measurements in the target process, which one is the best measurement for the benchmark? That one will become the KPI: Key Performance Indicator of the process and project. This video explains the three steps to set the KPI and benchmark. Setting KPI is very important task that determines your project's success or failure. Based on this process's KPI, your employees' KPI will be determined in the future.
