Dutch firm Pcnautic in conjunction with members of the Dutch Zeilersforum recently introduced a budget-friendly autopilot, based on open source code. The autopilot is primarily meant to be used with a supplied tiller drive, but since the MacGregor powersailors have a pedestal with steering wheel, I decided to test it with a used Raymarine Mk II wheel drive. This video was made at the very first test session. It's not specifically published for entertainment purposes, but rather as a proof of concept.
