Matt Smith has been helping aquaculture farmers across the Midwest for several years and is a trusted advisory of many a aquaculture farmer in the region. In this presentation Matt gives us an overview of what a potential farmer should consider before starting down the path of purchasing or building their own farm. Matt will cover a variety of topics such as market considerations, farm objectives, species and system considerations and business planning. Matt welcomes follow up questions and provides contact info for himself and other extension workers in the North Central region.
