This is my 1937 Chevy. I have owned this truck for about 2 1/2 years and use it as my daily driver. With its fuel injected LQ9(6.0 vortec max 345hp ) engine and its stage 2 2004R transmission is it turn key dependable and also economical to drive on long trips. I drive this truck everywhere I go whether it a 10 min trip across town or a 4 hour trip across state.
The truck is sitting on a S10 frame with a Camaro front sub Frame with a 10 volt 8.5 rear end. I think the gear ratio is about 3:08. Limited slip. It has power disc brakes in the front, drums in the back, and power steering. I
I bought the transmission from trans depot about a year ago. It came with a 2 year warranty which has about a year remaining. It's a stage 2 trans. And is built to handle up to 650 hp. It has 10 vane pump, 1800 stall converter, hardened spline, corvette servo's, alto clutches, Kevlar bands, sun shell and b&m shift kit.
The engine is a 6.0 vortec max. It came out of a 2005 Cadillac Escalade. It has brand new heads with heavy duty valve springs and is powered by a psi conversion stand alone Pcm and harness. The engine is rated at 345 hp bone stock which moves the truck down the road with ease.
The exhaust consist of factory manifolds which run into a y pipe, followed by a 3" pipe for about 2.5 feet and then split in to 2.25 dual pipes with stainless tips. The truck sounds rediculously awesome.
Aluminum wheels, descent tires,
The truck is titled as a 37 Gmc. Not Chevy! And it actually is a Gmc. I decided after I bought the truck I want to put the Chevy front end in it so I converted it over. I still have all the parts to change it back to the Gmc front end and they are included with the truck.
Everything on the truck is original steel with the exception of the Chevy hood. I could not find one in steel. However I still have the gmc hood and it is steel.
As you can see from the pics, the truck needs some minor body work and new paint. Also there is a hole in floor of the truck bed were I had to do some modifications to the brackets that hold the gas tank in place.
The truck had a working speedometer , oil pressure gauge, temp. Gauge, voltage meter, and the gas gauge kind of works. But it stays on full until your about 30 miles from empty, the it starts bouncing around and that how you know it's time to get some gas.
I'm sure there's a lot of info that I may have left out. So if you have any questions please feel free to send me a text or call. However I am a very busy man so if your not serious about buying this truck please don't waste my time.
I would be willing to trade this truck if I came across a old Camaro or Chevelle or something. But be realistic. My truck is not junk and I have over 25,000 in it so if your not in that ball park I would not be interested. I don't have to sell this truck I'm just starting to lose interest in finishing it so I'm putting it out there.
