Time for another fun unboxing video! This time, it's a shape that we rarely get to see here on the channel, so it's a fun one. This Gibson ES-335 from the Gibson Demo Shop was modified to have a satin Dark Tobacco Burst and no pickguard. I've seen the Dark Tobacco Burst on the Les Pauls, but never on the ES models. And the fact that they added the stain over the headstock Gibson logo and crown, gives it a very "widow" vibe that I'm a huge fan of. The T-Type pickups really make this one sing, and it sounds great through the Fender '68 Reissue Twin Reverb. I've never really had a guitar with a rounded C neck profile, but it's comfortable and easy to play with the satin finish on it. I'll be comparing it to the Epiphone Lucille after I give it a few days to adjust to the Texas humidity. For now, here's a basic sound samples after me fumbling around with the box and packaging materials. Enjoy!
