Diabetes can harm many different aspects of your body, including your skin. The first step in avoiding and treating diabetic skin issues is to control your blood glucose. Diabetes affects your skin, creating skin ulcers or a diabetic rash, indicating high blood sugar levels.
A common skin issue in the body where the folds darken and thicken the skin creases. Diabetes skin problems are more common in those who are extremely overweight. This is caused due to the pigmentation and insulin resistance the patient might face when suffering from diabetes. The pigmentation can be seen in the neck, armpit, and groin region.
A yeast infection, dry skin, or poor circulation might all be the core cause of diabetes. When there is a lack of blood flow, the lower legs may be the itchiest portion of the body. In such cases, try taking fewer baths and using gentle soap when you do. To hydrate dry skin, use lotion, but avoid getting it between your toes.

This can be caused due to type one diabetes in most patients. There is no treatment for vitiligo; however, light therapy and steroids are used to control it. Scratching dry or itchy skin can cause irritation and infection. Moisturize your skin to prevent chapping, especially if the weather is chilly or windy.
