I have been privileged to watch the Lord work in these two previously secular celebrities, and it's been something to see. Especially with Russell Brand who previously was a degenerate womanizer and drug abuser (sadly not uncommon in Hollywood).
Context: I started following Russell for political reasons a few years ago because I found it fascinating to watch his ideological change from one side of the aisle to the other. But then something REALLY interesting happened. I started to see God working on him. I remember thinking, "I think Russell may just yet come to Christ."
