Carol II of Romania was the father of Romania’s last King Michael I, who I covered in my video “Kings who lost their thrones”. In that video I mentioned that Michael succeeded to the throne at a quite young age as his father, Carol, was forced to renounce his rights to the throne. I had quite some requests on why Carol had to renounce his rights, so let us get into the video and explore Carol’s life.
