“If you wanna come up in the rap game, you just gotta be different,” says Minnesota rapper Yung Gravy, who’s modeled his career after “people who were just unique and doing their thing,” mentioning Lil Yachty and Lil Peep as reference points. Although his music is light-hearted and fun, the artist known as Mr. Clean and Young Steve Harvey is serious about his business. Coming up in the Twin Cities, Gravy found himself a little bit different from the norm, but during his college years he started pursuing music and soon his PayPal was going dummy.
