The Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens in Sherbrooke, up Mount Dandenong, are a stunning example of what one man can achieve with enough vision, and finances to back him! The estate is now under the care of Parks Victoria, and makes for an amazing forest / garden escape, less than an hour from Melbourne's CBD!
Although the gardens are beautiful any time of the year, Autumn is especially the season you do not want to miss!
