Cat Follows Young Girl to School Bus
A cat in Co Cavan, Ireland, has the cute habit of following the daughter of the house every morning as she heads off to get the bus to school.
Ursula Small recorded the activity one morning, as Aspen followed six-year-old Croiadh “down the lane and up the road” to where the little girl waits for her bus.
Small told Storyful that Aspen watches for the same signal each morning. “When Croiadh puts on her coat,” she said, “he follows her to the hall and then they head down.”
Small, who works from home and waits with Croiadh until the bus arrives, told Storyful that the other family cat “also follows occasionally, but Aspen is always there.”
She added that she drives Croiadh to school on rainy mornings, and that on those days, “the cat [is] not impressed.”
