This one's a little bit different insofar as we're looking at and changing the VU meter lamps with good, modern (not 'new old stock) lamps that are the correct type and you can buy today.
Lots more SLO-1700 fun to follow - I know there have been quite a few videos on these machines but they're very much a collection of Sony machines with the C9 and HF100 connection very much in evidence but we have the HF950 the Aiwa VHS, some more TT-F1/SL-F1 fun and in the dim and distant future a 15th anniversary limited edition betamax...
