Learn about the rules of how to use the IN, ON, and AT prepositions of time in English. I'll show you a trick of knowing when to use in, on, and at, and provide you with a chart of when to use each of them. In, at, and on are prepositions that locate people and events in time. We use AT for a specific time, IN for months, years, centuries, and long periods, and ON for days and dates.
Examples:
My birthday is in January.
My birthday is on January 16th.
I was born at 5:46 AM.
There are also specific rules about when to use in, on, and at with holidays depending if you're from the UK or North America, which you will learn about in this lesson.
