“ Ude Ga Ambe Ude “ – You have definitely heard these four magical words during the festival of Navratri. A festival celebration is incomplete without the presence of devotees, so to fulfil this we have come up with an online initiative for all the beloved devotees of Durga Maa in Thane, all over Maharashtra and India.

We cannot stop ourselves from participating in this year’s Tembhi Naka Navratri Utsav and seeking the blessings of the Goddess who arrives with a gesture of blessing and positivity for which we all eagerly wait.

We know that it is not possible to give a grand welcome to the goddess by physically engaging in large numbers and performing art forms to impress her. This year we are definitely going to miss those memorable moments, but we are not totally disconnected. As we are familiar with the advantages of social media, let us come together and celebrate the event in a safe environment by connecting with our family and relatives for next ten days from our respective homes by staying online.

“Tembhi Naka Navratri Utsav” was first celebrated in the year 1978 ,an initiative by Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Saheb. It received a good response from devotees all over Maharashtra and India. Every year lakhs of people visited to witness the festival and seek the blessings of the goddess. From Shri Dighe Saheb to Shri Eknath Shinde Saheb and many renowned personalities from Maharashtra have activily participated in this festival and in some way or other it has played a vital role in their success. Since the last 43 years, no other festival celebration has received such a great response, and we hope that it will continue further too.
