PUBS ran dry as boozers hit the town for one final fling before a second national lockdown kicked off at midnight.
Brits were pictured getting the last rounds in just hours before new restrictions came into force.
In anticipation of the lockdown, Brits flocked to city centres across the country to enjoy a last night of freedom before the 10pm curfew.
Soho in Central London was packed with groups of pals enjoying one last drink together and gathering outside in crowds - while snaking queues were also seen outside bars in Camden Town.
Others made the most of 99p pints at Wetherspoons after the pub chain decided to sell real ale at a staggeringly low price to avoid losing batches in lockdown.
Meanwhile up north, revellers in wacky Christmas outfits packed out bars in Leeds and Newcastle.
Pictures show boozers getting rowdy and spilling onto the street following the 10pm curfew - with police forced to restrain certain lairy drinkers.
Under the new restrictions, pubs will be able to sell alcohol to those who order online or via text following a government u-turn.
So Brits can enjoy a socially distanced pint with a friend outdoors - if you're willing to brave the cold.
Restaurants and cafes, which can now only offer takeaway options, were also flooded with groups pals enjoying a last meal out.
Pictures of packed eateries showed diners all over the country supporting their local businesses while relishing the last time they won't have to wash up for a month.
