The Uganda National Examinations Board will give PLE candidates extra 45 minutes as they write their Primary Leaving Examinations next week. The examinations body says that it is aware of the fact that of the 395,855 female candidates who registered for these exams, some might have fallen pregnant due to their long stay at home during the COVID-19 lock down. However, UNEB Executive Secretary Dan Odongo noted that these exams will be written in line with Standard Operating Procedures, set to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Odongo warned that candidates against engaging in any form of examination malpractice as this would lead to the exam results being cancelled. A total of 749,811 candidates will write their exams on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition
