One of the best things about home cooking is that you know exactly what goes into your dishes. This Apple Jam has minimum ingredients and no preservatives or artificial colours. I have to admit that it does take some time to make it but it is totally worth your time. Spread it on a toast or put it on a pancake. My daughter was eating it with crackers :)) It is a lovely addition to all things fall.
INGREDIENTS
- 5-6 MEDIUM APPLES
- 1/3 CUP BROWN SUGAR
- 1/4 CUP WHITE SUGAR
- 1/2 CUP WATER
- 1/2 TBSP LEMON JUICE
- 1/2 TSP CINNAMON
- 1/4 TSP ALL SPICE
- 1/8 TSP NUTMEG
- 1/8 TSP GINGER
- 1/8 TSP CLOVES
- 1/8 TSP SALT
