South Korea is reportedly considering sending military personnel to Ukraine to monitor the activities of North Korean troops believed to be aiding Russia in its ongoing war. According to Yonhap news agency, Seoul is mulling over sending a team to observe the tactics of North Korean special forces. This follows similar measures taken by South Korea in the past, such as sending personnel to Israel to study North Korean weapons allegedly used by Hamas. The South Korean government is also considering providing indirect military support to Ukraine, prioritising defensive weapons like the Cheongung-II missile system and possibly supplying 155 mm munitions to the US. Meanwhile, North Korea has denied reports of sending soldiers to Russia, calling them "groundless rumours." However, South Korea's intelligence services and Ukraine have claimed that North Korean military personnel, including top missile expert Kim Jong-sik, have been seen in the conflict zones in Ukraine.
