Little Venice, with its beautiful canals and waterways, can be found just to the north of Paddington Positioned where the Grand Union and Regent’s canals meet, this picturesque neighbourhood is home to quirky waterside cafes, cosy pubs, and charming restaurants. From canal boat rides to puppet shows, there are plenty of things to do in this charming London area.
I went Toady Little Venice, and it was very nice. There are many boats, and the canals are beautiful to walk along. I loved the colourful boats and barges, looking all the better in the bright autumnal sunshine. The atmosphere was relaxed as we watched folk working on their house boats or enjoying a drink or picnic on their rented boats. It seemed miles away from the busy streets we'd just walked from. A very pleasant area indeed, well worth a detour to see.
I enjoyed commentary from the team who pointed out all the sights using their expert local knowledge whilst enjoying the serene nature of the canal.
