A rare Sumatran tiger has gone under anaesthetic to be given a root canal for chronic toothache in Perth Zoo, Australia.
At 15-years-old Jaya is into his dotage, and wear and tear to a cat's teeth is not uncommon the zoo said.
The team also performed a full health check on the animal, who was treated for an ectopic thyroid cancer back in 2018.
After his recent check over he was back fighting fit.
