A couple of years ago my family and I took a wonderful trip to Sri Lanka with my parents and my husbands parents. When I reminisce over our travels I can’t help but feel grateful that my kids were able to enjoy an incredible holiday with their grandparents. We all had a wonderful time and came bag home with a handful of memories and great recipe. On our stay at Yalla Camp, our hosts gave us a private cooking session of lots of delicious Sri Lankan recipes. This Dhal recipe was one of my favourite dishes that I love to make at home and I hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
