Yemen’s Houthi rebels said they conducted a precise missile strike targeting Nahal Sorek in southeast of Yafa. Houthis said they used hypersonic ballistic missile ‘Palestine-2’ for the attack. Israeli Defence Forces acknowledged missile strike from Yemen which activated sirens in southern West Bank as well as in the Shfela region, including in the city of Beit Shemesh. IDF however claimed that the projectile couldn’t cross into Israeli territory and was intercepted successfully.
