Making some willow charcoal. I use willow charcoal for many things on the homestead including water filtration and quickly deicing the shed/greenhouse. This is a much more efficient method than what I used to do. Coffee can filled with willow over a propane stove or wood fire or just start a fire and throw water over it to put it out before turning to ash..
