On October 26th, 2020, Metro-North resumed service on the Waterbury Branch after being shut down for nearly 7 months due to trackwork and the installation of signals and Positive Train Control. After getting out of a doctors appointment, I dropped by the Waterbury station just in time to see Train 6949 depart the station. After that, I went to see if PL-1 was in town, but unfortunately, it wasn't. A bit later on, I went to the Eagle Street crossing to see Trains 3938 and 3957. Note: I didn't get the entire crossing sequence from Train 3957 as the first 2 horn blows occurred before the crossing activated, and I didn't know it was blowing for the crossing at first.
