Drew Barrymore was accidentally calling 911 while filming! The opening of the movie sees Casey Becker receiving the first phone call from Ghostface before finding her boyfriend tied up and dead. Of course she desperately calls 911, but the prop master had forgotten to unplug the phone. As she would have done several takes of the scene, Drew ended up accidentally calling 911 operators multiple times, giving them a high pitched scream before hanging up the phone. We can only imagine their worry and confusion.
