BATAVIA, Ohio (WKRC) - A woman who held the purse strings in a local community admits to stealing.
Lois Badgley is the former clerk for the village of Neville in Clermont County. She pleaded guilty to stealing more than $15,000.
The state auditor says she would make personal purchases with a village debit card and also withdrew thousands of dollars in cash.
Badgley will be on probation for five years and has agreed to pay more than $16,000 in restitution.
