Also known as the Bike Breaks Shop Ride, this wonderful loop from Girona is a must for all road cyclists. It's just 58km long, but an awful lot is packed into the two and a half hour ride which rises a total of 600 meters.
Heading out of of town to the North West, there's a lovely 15-20 minute gentle climb and then descent to Canet D'Adri.
After the village, and a long straight, a left turn brings up the Llemena Valley with a steady climb up to an amazing plateau with stunning views of the escarpments of the Garroxta region. Another short rise and then a long descent is a chance to relax before the final climb up to Mas Llunes, another extremely pleasant and shallow ascent on buttery smooth roads.
