In 2012, Meru Central Dairy Union in Kenya produced 30.000 litres milk a day. By 2016, this production has increased enormously and over 100.000 litre is being produced! Meru Central Dairy, Agriterra and professionals of for example FrieslandCampina, Agrifirm, DOC Cheese and Flynth, have made a new, high capacity production line fully operational since 2015. Main goal is even to fully utilise the installed processing capacity of 300.000L/day by the end of 2018.
