Thandiwe Newton, a Primetime Emmy Award-winning actress is the guest on the Hot Seat programme with journalist Violet Gonda. The Hollywood star, who is currently on the cover of the UK Vogue Magazine, has enthralled us in many romantic movies and high octane dramas including Beloved, Good Deeds, Mission Impossible 2, and is currently starring in the HBO science-fiction series Westworld. Thandiwe has also been using her social media platforms to champion human rights causes in Zimbabwe and many welcome her powerful voice.
Thandiwe refers to murdered activist Lavender Chinayi at 0:51:14, and the photo in the interview was of a different young activist who was also tortured and abducted.
