ROSE HALWA
Preparation time 10-20 minutes + set time
Cooking time 20-25 minutes
Serving 2-4
Ingredients
3 cups Rose syrup, रोज सिरप
A pinch of salt, नमक
¼ cup Ghee, घी
1 cup Corn starch, कॉर्न स्टार्च
1 ½ cups Water, पानी
¼ cup Ghee, घी
¾ cups Mixed Nuts, blanched, chopped (almonds, cashew nut, pistachios) नट्स
Ghee, for greasing, घी
For Garnish
Pistachios, blanched, chopped, पिस्ता
fresh Rose petals, गुलाब की पंखुड़ियां
Process
In a large bowl, add rose syrup, a pinch of salt.
Add ghee, cornstarch, water and whisk it well.
Transfer this mixture into a large kadai and keep stirring constantly.
Cook on medium flame, add ghee and mix until it's well absorbed completely.
Add mixed nuts and mix it well.
Make sure everything is well combined.
Transfer the halwa into the greased tray and level it up.
Rest for 30 minutes or until the halwa is set completely.
Finally, cut the rose halwa into pieces.
Garnish it with pistachios, rose petals and serve.
