- Korean use ONLY short-grain rice to cook bap

- Korean rice is sticky and starchy and that's the way Koreans like it
- 100ml of rice can make one bowl of bap
- Measuring cup comes with Rice Cooker is 180ml
- Rice absorbs water quickly during washing and soaking (absorb water around 1/10 to 1/20 of its volume) after soaking you add the same volume of water but it really means rice to water ratio 1:1.1 or 1:1:1.2
- Water to Rice ratio depends on 1)how old is the rice after milling 2)what season 3)how watery you want your bap
- Some Koreans don't wash rice as I do in this video, they rinse rice only once and it makes bap more starchy and sticky
