Every year during the month of September, McDonald’s Japan releases special items to celebrate the Moon Viewing Festival. This year is no exception.

The offering this year include three burgers, a special pie and a seasonal milkshake. We tried three items.

🍔 Tsukimi Burger is beef patty, egg, and special sauce
🍔Gyu Suki Tsukimi is beef patty, egg, cheese and thinly sliced beef pieces in sukiyaki sauce
🥧 Tsukimi Pie is deep fried with a filling of Anko (sweetened adzuki bean paste) and mochi.
