Mature anthuriums:
- leaves emerge from cataphylls
- flowers emerge from leaf petioles

Young anthuriums:
- leaves emerge from the previous petiole
- too young to flower 🤔

I also let my anthuriums go ahead and produce their inflorescences, but I know many prefer to cut theirs off. I find my anthuriums don’t suffer in any way from letting their inflorescences continue to grow, and most of them push out inflos at the same time as a new leaf! I just make sure to give them lots of light and fertilizer while they’re doing so 🙂

PS I know my #anthuriumforgetii is kind ugggllyyyy right now but it’s living in 30% humidity and I forget to water it sometimes (all the time) okkkkkkk 🥲
