Woodturning a stunning hybrid vase out mallee burl wood and epoxy resin. I went with a rather extreme colours (at least for me) and tried a new colour with some great pink metallic effects. Once it was shaped on my woodturning lathe some textured was made on the outside then hours of sanding could begin and eventually sprayed it with several layers of clear gloss lacquer.
