I wanted to create a video series covering the top freshmen prospects for the 2020 NBA Draft and track their progress through their likely one and only season playing college basketball. I named this series after Kanye's "Freshman Adjustment" mixtape from the early 2000s. This was back when Ye was hungry and seeking respect as a rapper and wanted to get out of the box of being labeled a producer.. I'm feeling like Polo Bear wearing Ye in 2001 with my website and YouTube channel, so I decided to create this series to honor the old pre Kardashian Ye from Chicago..
"The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" was one of my favorite songs from the mixtape and I decided to use it as the soundtrack for this video breakdown.
Through 11 games Arizona freshman Josh Green is off to a solid start and showing NBA scouts his potential as a 3 & D transition scorer/ ball mover. He's struggling finishing at the rim and creating for himself and mostly scoring in transition and on straight line drives.
His jumper has been inconsistent (only making 25% on jump shots) but has had a game where you can see there's a lot of potential for him as a shooter..
