Markham Tai-Chi Seniors Club's Christmas and New Year Celebration a Great Success
On December 15, 2024, the Markham Tai-Chi Seniors Club held a grand Christmas and New Year celebration at Castlemore Public School, attracting over 100 members and friends from friendly organizations. The event took place in a warm and joyous atmosphere, radiating the festive spirit.
On the day of the event, Regional Councillor Alan Ho and MPP Billy Pang came to congratulate and join in the festivities. Paul Chiang MP also sent a letter of congratulations expressing his blessings and support for our event.
During the celebration with friends, seniors showcased wonderful performances, held a handicraft exhibition, exchanged Christmas gifts amid cheerful music, and shared a delicious meal. Not only did everyone enjoy a bountiful feast, but the gathering also fostered greater understanding and friendship among members. This event was supported by the federal government, and the seniors were extremely happy, expressing their gratitude for the government's care for the elderly! We look forward to more opportunities for such exchanges in the future.
