Teknic's new ClearPath® integrated brushless servo motor line combines a brushless servo motor, a high-resolution encoder, an AC vector servo drive and a controller all into one compact package. ClearPath servos can be economically used in place of steppers, AC induction, DC brush, and non-integrated servo motors up to 1.3 hp peak, while providing significant performance advantages.
These integrated motors have a sophisticated auto-tuning algorithm as well as several unique, dedicated speed control modes further simplifying setup and integration -- one mode is called "Manual Velocity Control". You'll have fine control of speed from zero to max speed at the turn of a knob (any simple rotary encoder). ClearPath remembers your last set speed or optionally resets to zero speed when motor is enabled.
