Polling stations for the Croatian snap election are open for voters today. Within 12 hours, some 3.8 million Croatians eligible to vote will decide who runs the country. This comes after months of debating between Zoran Milanovic, nominee from the main conservative Social Democratic Party, and Andrej Plenkovic, his rival from the Croatian Democratic Union. Analysts predict a narrow win for the Social Democrats but say the likeliest outcome would be no absolute winner.
