A carrom disc often referred to simply as a "carrom piece" or "carrom coin," is a small, circular object used in the popular tabletop game of carrom. Typically made from wood or plastic, these discs are smooth and lightweight, designed to glide effortlessly across the polished wooden surface of a carrom board. Each game set includes a specific number of discs, usually nine black, nine white, and a distinct red disc known as the "queen." The objective of the game is to use a larger disc called a striker to propel one's own pieces into the board's four corner pockets, similar to pool or billiards. Mastery of the game requires skillful flicks, precise aim, and strategic planning to outmaneuver opponents and successfully pocket the queen and other discs.
